Summary
When Pro Hero Shoto returns from a long mission, Bakugo greets him at the airport with a teddy bear and a poorly disguised blush.
One car ride later, Bakugo takes a surprise detour to the mountain spot where they used to sneak out as teens — the same backseat where they first kissed, fumbled, and confessed their love.
The backseat is bigger now (thank god), but some things never change: fogged windows, frantic hands, bruises in all the right places — and Bakugo proving that muscle memory applies to a lot more than hero work.

I cannot get the image of teenage TodoBaku making out in the back of a car OUT of my skull, so here we are. There's some fluff and some smut, its just an all around good time lol.

Katsuki saw Shoto pause, his hand drifting up toward the comms piece in his ear. Izuku noticed, too, and went quiet, gently rolling the ball to Taiyo to keep her occupied.
“Shoto responding, ETA three minutes.”
He glanced to Katsuki, and Katsuki stood up. “Gotta go?”
“Gotta go.”
“How’s the knee?”
“Feels good.”
“Home in one piece for dinner.”
“Always.” Shoto kissed Katsuki, gave Taiyo one last ear ruffle, and waved to Izuku as he ran out the door.
Katsuki Bakugo has worn a ticking time bomb on his right arm since the War. It goes out in the only way possible - in the middle of battle, in a bloody blaze of glory. He wakes up with icy fingers in his remaining hand: Shoto Todoroki, the Number Two Hero, the man he married, and the one who'd snatched his falling carcass out of the sky.
In the aftermath, Katsuki works to navigate a new missing limb. Shoto's a perfect support. But the ties of their relationship fray under the strain, and both their careers are on the line. Will they figure out how to talk to each other again, or did Katsuki's right arm blow up their future, too?
This can be read as a standalone work!

“Shouto. I know this isn’t… ideal, but…” Katsuki stops and swallows thickly. “Shouto, you’re mine now. And not as in a possession, but as in one of my own. My family. I will protect you fiercely and be devoted to you fully. I take care of what’s mine and I intend to do so until the day I die.”
The words rattle around in Shouto’s mind: you’re mine. In one sense, it raises his hackles, Shouto much too proud and independent to be owned, especially by an alpha. In another, it stirs a warmth in Shouto’s chest. “Why? Why would you do such a thing?”
“Because it’s you.” Katsuki answers quickly and honestly. There is no hesitation. No room for doubt.

Summary
Post-canon, our boys are in their early thirties and have officially retired from hero work.
Todoroki’s a social worker, Bakugo’s an EMT. Todoroki’s dealing with weight and body image after years of being battle ready; Bakugo’s dealing with a hearing aid, tinnitus, and ears that took too many explosions.
They’re a little softer, a little damaged, and still stupidly in love, learning how to live with what hero work left behind and how to lean on each other through all of it.

Just wanna be clear, there is smut in here, but its less than half the story
Chapter One is Bakugo focused, Chapter Two is Todoroki focused, and the smut is at the end of Chapter Two :))
