Ekko’s hand slid to her waist, his touch steady as he deepened the kiss. The world outside of them seemed to vanish, the noise of the bar and everything else fading until all that remained was the warmth of her body against his. He wanted to give her this, wanted to show her that she wasn’t alone, that he wasn’t going anywhere.
“Ekko,” she whispered, pulling away slightly, her breath still hot against his lips. “I don’t know how you do it… but every day you make me fall in love with you all over again."
