Bailey dangles the VHS tape in front of your face, their eyes gleaming with a sadistic light.
"Don't you want to see the rest? See the part where you stop being a professional and start looking like… this?" They jab a finger toward the crumpled photo of your ruined form still clutched in your hand, at your body and the patchwork of bruises and marks that currently ruined it.
Without waiting for an answer, they slide the tape into the VCR. The machine whirs to life. The screen flickers for a moment before the image of that brothel room bed fills the screen. Bailey leans against the wall, arms crossed, their gaze fixed on your face, not the screen. They want to watch you as you watch yourself being broken. "Let's see how well you really handled yourself."

Xie Lian yawned, striding around the corner of Hua Cheng’s throne-like seat and lightly plopping down in his lap, snaking his arms around his neck and nuzzling his nose into the soft and cool skin of his throat. He felt Hua Cheng tense under him, his arms hovering around his torso for a couple of seconds before he started to relax. Hua Cheng’s arms slowly enveloped him, his hold becoming more and more secure as Xie Lian continued to nuzzle his neck.
“I’m just glad to finally be home…” Xie Lian mumbled, giving in to another yawn and closing his eyes. As Xie Lian’s breathing evened out, Hua Cheng was left with only one possible conclusion. That this must all be one extremely detailed, extremely evil, and extremely happy dream…
Or, Xie Lian unwittingly gets hit by a time travelling spell while fighting demons and is sent back to a time where he and Hua Cheng have yet to reunite.
