"S-six."
Grace's small, shaky voice confirmed his wild hypothesis with undeniable certainty. Grace was in the body and mind of a pebble, a new-hatch in an Eridian timeline, but still very very young even by earth standards... Oh god, Rocky couldn’t do this.
Rocky stumbles upon Grace curled up under his bed, shaking with fear, heartbeat erratic, and inexplicably, somehow, far too small.

Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???

Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

Summary
Exactly what it says on the tin - this is essentially my own take on "Saving Grace" and other Rocky POV fanfics, with a concerted effort on my part to make it Andy Weir-esque in tone and writing style.
I don't have any grand plans with this series, and I doubt I'll end up writing the whole book - however, I am putting effort into keeping the chapters I do write as internally consistent as possible. The other main goal of this exercise is exploring Rocky's character as I understand him and giving myself space to flesh out and explore my own ideas about Eridiankind in general.

Summary
As he stared down into the lumpy grey goop that was his evening rations, he contemplated whether it was really worth it.
They’d come a very long way just for Grace to give up and die at the last hurdle, both physically and emotionally. The Tau Ceti system was a long, long way away now, and Grace had faced not one but two highly emotional suicide missions. Three, if you counted the time before he was given a military grade roofie and hucked into space without his memories.
Rocky and Grace make it back to Erid! Huzzah!
