“Oh you’re still here?”
“Why?” Dazai repeated with more pathos.
“Why what?” Chuuya responded, still not looking up from his book. “I need you to be a little less cryptic.”
“Why do you want to have sex with me?”
In which: Chuuya wants Dazai, but Dazai's self-image doesn't align with the idea of being wanted. They talk about it, and in the process discover how weak Dazai is for kind words.

Summary
There are two types of people in the military - those who have seen death and those who have not. It's exactly what it sounds like. Captain Chuuya, Colonel's son Dazai, Dazai's heat spent together, and a lighthearted story but with darkness on the edges and traumatic reveals. Hopefully, a satisfying ending, but that's what I got you for.

Summary

Summary

What if you're not there and I have no choice? Chuuya asked.
Chuuya has to wait for me. I don't care what's happening. Chuuya has to wait.
Chuuya stares down at his screen, hidden again behind some debri. There is still no response. His hand tightens around it, tremulous. He had to have seen it by now. Dazai's phone is always in his pocket.
Shit. Does he really not give a damn anymore?
He remembers a small smile, eyes gentle and deep and dark. I'll always come for Chuuya.

Dazai has been distant with Chuuya these days, seeming to have grown bored of him and has been spending more and more time with Oda Sakunosuke. This sudden rift has consequences, and Chuuya will be the one to bear it.
