Summary
A pirate AU of Laurent & Damen. That is all.
Nine Chapters which are written as 'excerpts', it is a linear story but each section or chapter may not follow on directly, there are assumed time jumps, inserts and overlapping of relevant information and other characters.
Most of the things included here did really happen, but not necessarily in the chronological order that is indicated.
It also jumps between Vere, Akielos and the Caribbean at the beginning, as the aim is to set up their journey to the Caribbean, basically explain how they became pirates. It then jumps between different Caribbean islands because Pirates did do that.
The majority of the activity takes place in New Providence, Nassau (Charles Town) in the Bahamas, Port Royal in Jamaica, which the home ground for many pirates and Charlston (Charles Towne), South Carolina.
So pay attention and buckle up, the chapters are long.

Summary
Laurent promised his older brother he'd be civil. He promised he would not start fights, especially with Damianos. Laurent's ex-lover, not that Auguste was aware they had ever been together. Which was the whole issue, the lack of publicity about their relationship. It doesn't matter, they broke up months ago.
However, Auguste's and his boyfriend Nikandros' housewarming party sparks feelings of jealousy when Laurent sees Damen's new fling. Laurent's supposed to be moving along, at this event for only one reason. That reason not being to fuck his ex in his brother's bathroom...right? Although, Laurent would still be following orders, wouldn't he?
