Summary
At the height of the Orokin Empire, The Seven hold a golden grip over the inhabitants of the Origin System. Rose and Maeve, sisters who hold a privileged position in Orokin society thanks to the work of their family over generations, are living relatively comfortable lives on Lua as Archimedeans focusing on their research regarding the Void. After Maeve conducts rather salacious acts with someone far above their place in the rigid caste system of the Empire, Ballas offers Rose a way to save her sister from certain death— and to keep the Executor from opening his mouth about the incident— a political arranged marriage with one of his commanding officers so her family's name and accomplishments now reside under Ballas's domain to claim.
Left with no other way to save her sister, Rose signs the bargain.

Summary
Rose tried her best to do everything right this time. She had Arthur at her side to help unravel her feelings. She happily took the time to really get to know Marie. She willingly opened herself up with the raw honesty she wished she had done so earlier with Arthur. There was still one sticking point that kept rearing its ugly head into their conversations: Entrati. She knew deep down this topic was going to become a pressure point if they were to pursue something more serious.
She just didn’t expect it to erupt the way it did.

Summary
What started out as Rose simply wanting us to have some form of correspondence, in case her feelings towards Marie became something much more serious worth exploring, turned into an actual friendship of sorts. She was admittedly pleasant to talk to, our chats reminding me an awful lot of Rose’s initial curiosity with everything in Höllvania. It felt like many of our conversations were actually just both of us trying to wring the other dry of as much information as possible.
I couldn’t say I disliked it.

Summary
Marie was, without a doubt, one of the most loving and kind people I had ever met in my incredibly long life. After getting to talk and know the triad members individually, I realized that the other two also recognized this about the follower of Sol. It made everything so much harder knowing that the ache in my chest and flutters in my stomach were likely me feeling a love of a very particular kind towards her.

She didn't expect for things to play out like this. She knew she would be digging through the Devil of Tau's memories by descending through a hell of his own creation. She knew she needed to befriend and earn the trust of a troubled priest of Lua, which was a task of equal or even greater difficulty. And she knew she also needed to earn the trust and open the eyes of a nun of Sol who was, without a doubt, one of the kindest souls she had ever met in her long life. Those things seemed pretty straightforward, doable, simple.
Everything became much more complicated once the flower and songbird realized that this nun of Sol had already worked her way into their hearts.

Arthur’s gaze is heavy, practically a physical thing, even from across the room. There is a mellowed curiosity present that she isn’t used to seeing, something that speaks of wanting to sit closer and study her. Like she’s a rare creature finally coming close enough for study.
