She was steadying herself again, falling in step beside Kotallo as they rounded the corner to the medic’s tent. “She fights death like a Clawstrider fighting for scrap. If there is any chance at all, she will see it through. I didn’t wake you to help Atekka, Marshal.” She stopped, nodding down the path, and Kotallo followed her direction until he spotted him.
His Chief, slumped on a bench outside the medic’s tent. He rested his head on his open palm.
Technically a follow-up to A New Flame, but could be read as a standalone.

Begins in the ambiguous space between 'The Kulrut' and before 'Cradle of Echoes', and will feature sporadic moments as the game narrative continues through. Kotallo and Aloy's relationship develops over the course of the game and I fix the EGREGIOUS slight that he is not in the final fight.
Mostly Kotaloy dates, though. Because I desperately wanted them to spend more time together.
