So he should speak to him, Ritsu resolves; he should talk a lot, to make Shigeo feel comfortable at home again, to help him not feel self-conscious about being a cat now, just in case that’s how Shigeo’s feeling, in case self-consciousness is something which cats in general are capable of feeling.
