“Kacchan, I meant between us,” said Izuku, frowning as he flicked his pointer finger back and forth between them. “It’s not a competition between us.”
Katsuki looked offended. “It’s our classes!”
“You need to focus on learning how to teach! You didn’t come here to compete with me!”
“HA!” Katsuki barked out a sharp, loud laugh. “Yeah, I did! Why the hell else would I care about this boring crap?”
Izuku went a bit red, sputtering, “You—what—okay… well, your priority should be teaching the students!”
“Obviously I gotta teach the students well to surpass you!”
In which Katsuki accepts a temporary teaching role at UA... definitely because of his hidden passion for shaping Japan's youth.

Pro Hero Bakugou Katsuki is on his way... to the bottom. His ratings suck, his reputation sucks, and even his agency has it out for him. Katsuki can see rock-bottom coming, but he can do nothing but brace for the inevitable, painful impact.
Meanwhile, Midoriya Izuku hit rock bottom months ago. He's pulling himself back to his feet, working shitty jobs with shitty pay and just doing his best to eat most days. At least he's not in debt anymore, though. At least he has a roof over his head.
On Katsuki's way down and on Izuku's way up, they catch each other.
