At the age of six Midoriya gets his quirk called vampirism, where he needs to drink blood every week, and his mom decides to give her own blood, which is fine, for a year or two but for five years is too much, so she starts to get really pale, frail and weak, and he realizes that he needs another way to get blood without scaring people, but before he could do anything his mother was dead, dead by a villain
