Summary
If one did not watch Michaela closely, nothing would have seemed amiss. She smiled, as always, mirthful, as always; but Francesca was watching closely, and she saw that smile freeze, for just half a second, and then suddenly, like a jam jar coming loose after half an hour’s effort, Francesca understood.
“An innate indifference,” she said, “to men.”

Summary
Following revalations about Michaela's love life, Francesca struggles, too afraid to examine why that is, and too plagued with continuous explicit dreams of her to process how said dreams affect her.
Until, of course, she gains insight into Michaela's correspondence.
Let us just say, the reader should not blame Francesca for her snooping.
But one can only do so much snooping before the other person is bound to find out.

“Hi-“
“Do you want to have dinner tonight?” Michaela blurts. Her eyes are a gorgeous dark brown and Francesca gets lost for a bit. “Sorry, it’s just,” she pauses, “sometimes it feels like we lost the same person and I want to get to know you. Forgive me if that’s to—.”
It’s Francesca’s turn to interrupt. “I’d love dinner. I’d love to get to know you.”

Summary
"Francesca Bridgerton decided three things when Professor Danbury read out the pairings for her English seminar final project of the term.
One: Danbury was a fucking sadist who thrived on chaos.
Two: This project would be unbearable no matter how early her and her partner decided to start it.
Three: She would absolutely not let fucking Michaela Stirling get the upper hand.
“And for our final pairing, we have Francesca Bridgerton and Michaela Stirling,” Danbury said, peering over the podium she was leaning against with far too much satisfaction. “Everyone, you’ll be recreating a scene from a play of your choosing. Hell, you can even do a scene from a musical for all I care. There must be a performance and an analysis of the scene and your interpretation of it. You all will have three weeks' time.”
Or Francesca and Michaela, notorious academic rivals, are forced to work together for their Final Project.
