“I didn’t hit him,” he said with a wry laugh. Sisko paused, initially unsure of what Bashir was trying to say, wondering if he’d misheard.
Suddenly, the words hit like a freight train.

Incredible character study that explores the good, the bad, the ugly about Robby, and gives beautiful weight to the complexity and depth of his feelings about Adamson while also fleshing out Adamson’s history in the process. Incredibly written, and a wonderful perspective on both characters.
