Summary
It's been three moons since Night killed everyone in his village. Its been three agonizing, heartbreaking moons since he had killed his brother.
There's not much to do in a soulless world. This changes, ever so slightly when he hears a desperate call from someone in the abyss.
Night doesn’t know what to make of his new situation, and he can't bring himself to move on just yet from the horrors he's committed. But life demands his interaction and input, so he forces himself up anyways.
Dream would do the same, if they were here. But they're not, so Night might as well pick up the slack.

Summary
Nightmare sat on the grassy floor of the hidden meadow, a quick walk away from the tree. The meadow was more of a quarry covered in moss, with divots in the rock sprouting random plants. Shallow grass grew where the sun hit, soft and delicate like silk. It brushed gently against the bones of his hands until it hit the small breaks with the microscopic barbs, sending small, shooting pain through his bones.
He's not stupid. He knows what pain is. It's bad, painful- a negative experience he's supposed to avoid.
Then why does everything else in his skull no longer hurt?

Summary
Alex is reminded of when they were young, and they fell off their bike, narrowly avoiding a car that was backing out of a driveway. They were maybe 9 or 10 years old, but tall and lanky and disproportionate after a growthspurt, and they couldn't get the breaks to function in time. Instead, they grabbed the wrong breaks- the front tire breaks- and went sailing forward, disoriented. The part of them hiting the concrete is fuzzy in Alex's own memory, but they remember the next scene. Blood lazily seeping from the scapes on their face, blood from their mouth where they bit their tongue, and a dazed, lost look on their face like they were woken violently from a deep sleep. When he tried to get their attention, ask what the hell they were thinking, they could only focus on his hands and their gestures, not his words or face.
Morgan stares at the screen with the same intensity.

Summary
Nightmare, one of the twin guardians of the Tree of Feelings, eats one of the dark apples he's tasked with protecting. It awakens as a consciousness inside him, not quite hostile and not quite content to pal around as a hitchhiker in Night's head, but still willing to bide its time and learn about its surroundings and its new host.
Maybe it has something to do with that pocket dimension he visits occasionally - the one with the entity that calls itself a human, and the only adult skeleton he's ever known.
A compilation of all the fics in the Black Apple Blues series.

Summary
Stranded in Gotham, fifteen-year-old Peter Parker is broke, sleep-deprived, and just barely holding it together. After a week on the streets, he finds work at a half-decent café near the alleys—the kind of place that doesn’t ask for ID, which suits him fine. By day, he pours coffee. By night, he scours scrap to build a machine that might take him home.
He doesn’t want attention—not from the Waynes (who have too many family issues), not from Gotham’s masked shadows. But they’ve noticed him anyway. The kid with too-sharp eyes and questions he won’t answer. The one who takes cash without complaint but won’t accept a ride, a warm meal, or even a name.
Because Peter can handle things himself. He has to. Help always comes with strings, and he’s tangled in enough already. But the truth is clawing its way out—his arrival in Gotham wasn’t an accident. Someone wanted him here.
Now, caught in a web bigger than his own, Peter will have to decide if surviving is enough—or if he’s willing to let someone in before it’s too late.

10/10 angst. I'd kill to read this again with no memory. I want a sequel. I want more from this author. Seriously, read this.

Summary
Peter died for the universe, and it's entirely his fault that Wanda died too, so why did they both wake up in a tube of discount Nickelodeon slime? And how is Pietro here?
Also, wtf is Gotham?
---
“But you’re like, six?” Pietro questioned before he was manhandled by Wanda as she checked for injuries, “Also what was the comment about being on the run?”
“I am nine. Ish. I think. And mentally I’m fifteen.”
“Still not old enough for basically having several college degrees,” Pietro argued as his head was pulled down so Wanda could check his scalp, “and can we get back to the on the run thing? I think we’re avoiding something important here.”
“So, after you got yourself shot…” Wanda started.
“Heroically,” Pietro interrupted, dodging another smack.
