This is a repost because I kept finding so many mistakes originally that I went ahead and took it down to retool it. Summary
A while back I wrote a shitty wish fulfillment where I sent Steve Rogers through Army commissions so he'd come by those damn railroad tracks honestly. This is the follow up. Now he's a staff peon. Enjoy. (Or rather, don't. Suffer.)

Summary
The one wherein the author punishes Steve and makes him join the National Guard, to get peered out of OCS, and find himself in ROTC. Oh Steve. You should have left well enough alone.
It always bothered me that Steve was field grade promoted with no formal officer training and no more than a week of Basic Training. So I sent him through ROTC. Now he’ll come by those damn railroad tracks honestly.
For those of you unfamiliar with military terminology, I have included a dictionary at the end for you to reference.

"Yes!" Buck snapped his fingers. "Like platonic boyfriends! We'd get all the benefits of a relationship and none of the heartbreak."
And maybe Eddie had finally lost his mind, or maybe it was from all the alcohol clouding his judgment, but the idea of it didn't sound half as crazy as it should have.
