Peeling her forehead from his bare chest, Violet peered up at him. He peered back, the dark eyes boring into her so intense her breath hitched.
“Sex,” she supplied, succinct and to the point.
A bark of surprised laughter shook him, vibrated her to her very bones. He was everything she could see. Everything she could hear, smell, feel, touch. There was a small, neglected voice in the back of her mind that screamed that he was everything, period, but Violet refused to listen.
