Summary
When Lando blindly reached over to shut off his alarm, his exhaustion quickly turned to confusion when the sound stopped before he could even reach his phone. Rubbing his eyes with one fist before prying them open, he nearly jumped out of his skin upon seeing another figure standing beside the bed in his still half-asleep state. It was always just him and the kids in the mornings; there was no reason for anyone else to be there.
The panic left as soon as he processed that it was just Oscar, but-
“What’re you doing here? You’re in Barcelona,” Lando murmured, voice slightly broken and thick from sleep.
Well, he was supposed to be in Barcelona, at least.
Oscar leaned down to kiss his forehead, brushing some of the curls away from his face gently. “Go back to sleep, baby. I’m flying out tomorrow. I’ll take care of the kids today, yeah?”
Lando slowly blinked up at him a couple of times, trying to properly process the information. The promise of being able to go back to sleep for once sounded a little too good to be true; he considered for a moment if he was actually still dreaming.

Summary
Whenever his partner was being petty, Daniel fully committed to annoying him right back. Instead of going to bed, even though he was exhausted from the long evening, he called his mum (thanks, Aussie time difference!) and loudly explained to her what had happened in a version of events that was so laughably skewed he almost felt ashamed. Then he called Max but the Dutchman didn’t pick up, so Daniel recorded several voice notes, as loudly as he could while maintaining plausible deniability.
Afterwards, running out of ideas but still desperately wanting to impede his husband’s impromptu nightly work session, he just straight up blasted a random Spotify playlist and started singing.
That seemed to do the trick.
To Lewis’ credit, he made it through five whole off-key country songs before he slammed open their bedroom door. “Would you shut up?!”
