Manga Spoilers!!!
Don’t read unless you’ve read up to chapter 335!!Asta had just been promoted to senior magic knight: first class. He then proposes to Sister Lily one last time and gets rejected again. Julius, actually Lucius now, appears and turns Sister Lily into a paladin. Lucius then tries to kill Asta with a slash but he blocks it. Paladin Lily then uses a spell and Asta disappears.
Asta then appears about 389 years later in a modern world (2023). He now has to adjust to this new life in the modern world while figuring out what happened back then and why he had been erased from the Clover Kingdom records.

Her bad luck seems to have no end. A fact so painfully true as she finds herself lost. This place is filled with pricks who think they're some goody-two-shoes superhero from a comic book that saves anything and everyone out of the goodness of their heart. How stupid. In reality, all they actually care about is themselves. They're trying to paint the complicated colors of the world in only the colors of black and white and a Jujutsu Sorcerer like her has no place on either color. The worst is, she has to face it all alone. Or maybe she doesn't.
Someone seems deadset on finding her and bringing her back.
