Summary
With the Normandy being repaired on Omega, Shepard decided to have himself a night out in Afterlife. He didn't expect to find Major Alenko in the middle of a BDSM scene. Three days later and he still couldn't get the image out of his head.
Kaidan was sure Shepard was avoiding him. A quick chat couldn't hurt, right?

Summary
After leaving Horizon, Commander John Shepard has focused on recruiting the rest of his team. But when Miranda finds intel on what turns out to be a rogue Cerberus operation in a secluded part of the Traverse, he ends up with a new teammate he never expected - himself, from another timeline. It turns out Shep is no clone, though; she’s her own woman, and though they share backgrounds as Mindoir survivors and heroes of the Skyllian Blitz, there’s just as much setting them apart as there is that proves they’re both the Commander Shepard. Under the care of the familiar faces of her crew that nonetheless isn’t her crew, she adopts the identity of John’s long-lost sister, and tries to find her place in a galaxy she knows and yet seems like it might forever be foreign.
She’s a force to be reckoned with, and though her own universe has been destroyed by the hubris of the rogue operation, she’s determined to save his own right alongside him - and to reunite him with the man he misses the most from his own original crew... even as she tries not to think about just how close she and this Garrus are becoming - or how close she wants to become.

Summary
“You remind me of him,” Anderson had once said, the day they had made Kaidan the second human Spectre. He was under no illusion that that wouldn’t have happened without Shepard being the first, but he wasn’t quite so sure if they had really shared the same values. From what he had heard, things had regularly blown up wherever Commander Shepard had gone, and Kaidan was proud to think that they didn’t tend to around him.
Kaidan Alenko and John Shepard never meet on the Normandy SR-1. By the time Kaidan becomes the second human Spectre, Commander Shepard has been dead for almost two years.

Summary
SPOILERS FOR EXTENDED CUT DLC! An EC-compliant post-game fic of belated but no less appreciated reunions. Three squadmates who've loved Shepard, lost Shepard, and found Shepard again, not to mention all the crap they've learned from him in between. They left the plaque with Kaidan because somebody had to carry the heavy things. And, presumably, because Garrus was working on the Normandy’s new calibrations.

Summary
“I used to,” Alenko says, voice trailing off as he stares after the Commander. James furrows his brows. He sounds almost—wistful? Longing? What the hell.
“...Uh. Right. Cool,” James says with a nod, like he isn’t silently wondering what in the world that’s supposed to even mean.
*
or: it doesn’t take long for James to realize something about the great and untouchable Commander Shepard.
