Summary
Sett tugged him closer instead of letting go, red eyes burning as they searched his face. Talon jerked again, trying to wrench free. “If I was a nastier dragon,” Sett said quietly, “you’d be ash already.”
Talon, adopted into a family of monster hunters, is tasked with slaying one of the land's most fearsome, elusive beasts. But he finds himself woefully unprepared, despite his father’s instructions and soon is caught in the beast's claws. But he soon begins to question if life with a dragon isn't so bad after all.

After a break-up that left him with nothing but the clothes on his back, Talon returns home and scrambles to try and salvage the pieces of his life Ezreal left shattered. He's lost his home, his money and now his carer as an athlete is on the line after vicious rumours start to circulate in the news. What he really needs right now, is somebody to lean on.
It just so happens an old flame still lives in town.

Summary

When he finds a like minded leader on the other side, they manage to force a ceasefire and ensure both countries can rebuild. The biggest cost being an important child on both sides being sent to the other.
Garen Crownguard, Son of Demacia, heir to the family name, and older brother stepped forward on behalf of his homeland. To save Lux from the same fate, he agreed to travel away from everything he knew and loved so that his people might have a chance at peace. He prays to the winged protectors he is strong enough to survive. Especially, as a ward of House Du Couteau.

The first time Talon had heard about ruts he'd been aboard a Piltoverian merchant vessel, posing as a guard, even though everyone knew he wasn’t. He lingered nearby while they talked, the boat creaking along the tall waves.
(Talon survives Sett's rut, but he doesn't escape unscathed, or unchanged. And now he can't look at Sett the same.)
