“What did you call it?” Simon asked, placing his hand on Grace’s hip. His fingers slipped under the man’s shirt, causing his angel to moan. Simon loved how vibrant blushes looked on Grace. His angel looked like a tomato. He couldn’t help but tease the man. “When we talked about EDEN and Earth? Something exchange?”
Ryland whimpered as Simon began rubbing his side. Every touch was electric. God, he was sensitive. He swallowed, throat clicking loudly. “Cultural exchange,” Grace answered.
“Yeah. Cultural exchange.” Simon chuckled, “Let’s do that. Let me show you how we make life.” He pulled Grace to him, chest to chest.

Grace isn’t able to try the same, not for this.——
Simon can’t tell if Grace actually glances down to his lips as he puts his glasses back on his nose or if it’s just his own wishful thinking, as it happened in the blink of an eye, if it happened at all. “I, uh, was wondering, only if, well, I-,” Grace quickly averts his gaze, shaking his head with a nervous laugh, “You know what, never-”
Still reeling too much from his debatably imagined glace, Simon reaches across Grace’s space, placing his hand down in the space between Grace’s thigh and his hand. “Use your words, Grace.” One of his brows twitch, not nearly as patient as Grace is. “I hate guessing games, so spit it out.”
The nervous grin never leaves Grace’s lips and the bulb above the stove highlights the way blood rushes to his cheeks.

Outside the day starts to finally wake up. Geralt can feel it even though the lightness that barely appears in the sky. He can hear the very distant hum of the early birds, their constant, happy chatter, and their thrumming flutter of wings. His hand never stops touching Jaskier. After the last near "tragedy" (or so the dwarves are calling it, Bilbo's about done with them), Bilbo doesn't cut his hair and instead lets it go long. Except now, now he's almost home, his dwarves insisting on escorting him back, and he's got long hair he doesn't know what to do with.
When Thorin offers to braid his hair, Bilbo reluctantly agrees, if just to have something to remember the dwarf by.
Except it doesn't do Thorin any favors. Bilbo was already attractive enough, and now there are braids. In his hair.
And if Fili and Kili don't stop snickering, Thorin's content to return to Erebor without his heirs.
