    Summary

Well, there was nothing for it. “I intend to take back Rosaria from Sanbreque.”

“Take back Rosaria,” Mother scoffed. “How childish. We must only ask and Rosaria will be returned to us.”

“Ask?” Joshua echoed. “Ask who, Sylvestre? Sanbreque? Ask them the way you asked for the death of my father, ten years ago?”

Mother’s expression closed off. She shifted her grip on the child in her arms and turned sharply. There was no maid nearby; the only person available to take Olivier from her was Clive. Joshua expected her to pick one son over the other—Joshua couldn’t remember a time when she had ever trusted Clive with something she considered precious.

To the shock of everyone, but none so much as Clive himself, Mother dumped her squirming two year old into Clive’s arms so she could continue to argue with Joshua.

“Everything I did, I did for you! I had your father killed to secure our place in an empire threatening to swallow us! Do you think that betrayal was nothing? Do you think I sacrificed nothing to keep you safe?”

    Summary

Five years after Drakes Head, Clive finds Cid in an unexpected place.

It was empty. Silent. Dark. Until, it wasn't. Cid’s eyes shot open with a gasp.

It felt like he had been holding his breath for eons. His lungs burned as he tried to sit up, not realizing at first that he’d woken up not on the ground or in a bed, but on a large piece of wood, his tired body half-hanging off into icy cold water. Waves picked up and tossed him around violently, almost throwing him entirely into the sea. In a panic he scrambled against the wood for purchase, barely managing to get both his legs back on.

“Fuuuuuuck!” he half screamed, shaking his head. He tossed it to the sky again in hopes to see something, anything, to help him figure out where he was. Nothing but more fog and clouds heavy with rain were there to greet him.

Then, a shimmer of blue light suddenly caught his eye.

Or, a late game fix-it where Cid lives, set during The Rising Tide DLC.

    Summary

Clive Rosfield has had enough to deal with in his life.

Between sparring sessions in the bailey, protecting his little brother and dodging his mother's scorn his days were full.
Now he has to deal with aching migraines and visions of events that he was very sure had never happened. He's assaulted by memories of people he's never met and places he's never been. And is it just him or was Jill always that pretty?

One version of Clive Rosfield gave his all to end Ultima's reign. Too bad magic didn't play by the rules and pseudo gods were hard pressed to let this land wither.

    New game+ with a twist.
Clive's consciousness remains as death approaches. Time twists with the influx of power at origins end which leaves a younger version of Clive with visions of a future that had not come to pass.
Can these prophetic visions diverge the paths of a blighted world?

    Summary

At first, nobody believed the news. It had to be a sick joke.
    A mistake.

Then they believed, but they believed wrong.
    Which was exactly right.

It makes no sense. It never does where Majima Goro is involved.
Nishida knows it. The whole Majima Family knows it.

Whatever happens, no matter how hard or how painful it gets, they know there’s only one thing to do:
    hold on tight.
