Happiness Is Where The Tide Takes You (Float! Optimus! Float!) by DesertRose244

Summary
You've been with the Autobots for around half a year now. Even with your comparitively tiny eyes you can see that Prime puts on more masks than the one that covers his face. He's not only fearless. Not only serious. Not only a commander. He's tired, and mourning, and so annoyingly unwilling to allow himself to be happy.
If time is the moon that forced the tide to come in, and Optimus is your tide. Then you are the happy swimmer that learned to ride the waves at their highs and lows. That learned to let go of all the places time took you past and away from. That learned to float. And you WILL teach Optimus this lesson.
Because despite all the turbulent space between your lives- your moons, your waves. You see a parallel. That though you are caught in a riptide you never initially wanted, with him, you are swimming parallel to the shore. And maybe with you, he can be too.
- This is quite loosely placed in the G1 continuity. Optimus is a blend of G1 humour and TFP jaded. Not all things are referenced or accurate to G1, it's just the framework from which I worked around.

Summary
Heavily inspired by the 2002 movie directed by Steven Shainberg 'The Secretary' but instead of James Spader you get a 6'6" omnic on the crux of his villianous awakening.
Because the night you intend to die is the night you meet your new life.
Written mainly for myself, slow to update!

If anyone's getting you hungover on Team Prime, it'll be Ratchet. The man needs a break every now and then, and though he's not far behind Optimus in terms of chugging at it on fumes- he's no Prime.
He'll total himself too because dammit, he just can't say no to your ridiculously coy smirk the once or twice per fortnight that you come in and bother his work.

She's a mechanic at the omnic repair shop below the monastery, he's a lost soul -drifting towards furious collision.
With every human he has ever met, fought with and killed, he never imagined he'd get so close to one. She was special, though, her and her tank drum.
A slow burn about meeting our tall omnic, both pre and post Null Sector! At the moment we are just at pre Null Sector!

" Listen. " Silence. " I'm… I'm gonna open my eyes, okay? "
All at once, the thing seems to get even more frigid, craning back as if you had just swiped at them.
" … Do you mean it? " There's weight behind those words, a warning.
[Don't look at me, I'm just thirsty for mister ASMR demon. Art in the second chapter.]

It's like a night terror if my usual contingency plan of seducing the night terror demon worked.

Summary
Just for a moment, all Nolan could think of was a drop of rain falling onto the surface of an ocean. Impossible to discern or distinguish as separate from its new place, gone and yet made vastly larger by being consumed. What measurable change did it hope to make? It was minute. It wasn't rain anymore. Just the ocean. Something scratched across the back of his throat, down through his chest and lodged itself behind his heart, making it skip a beat. A drop of rain falling into the ocean. Could you really call that drowning?

This has become the core piece of media for The Boys for me. Literally beat the show.
