Summary
Grand Mother Silk is dying, and as Her last living daughter, Lace must take Her place. Without a goddess, the kingdom of Pharloom will crumble.
Lace does not want to be the new goddess, but she dreads the thought of letting her Mother die with a broken heart. So when the Choir brings her a half-Weaver warrior from a fallen kingdom, Lace resolves to do what she has always done: perform perfection, conceal the cracks, and pray that no one looks too closely at the tension in her threads.
She has three months before Mother perishes. Three months to turn this reluctant warrior into a willing bride. Three months to claim her divine birthright in time for the coronation—or unravel under the weight of her failure.

Summary
" 'Many who had fallen comatose with the infection are waking up, seeming healthy and whole.'
The king dismissed the courier, and began the process of ordering further studies."
Some unknown force has resulted in the disappearance of the Radiance, just before the infection could reach its peak under the Pale King's rule. The mystery soon takes a back-burner to a rearranged custody agreement over Herrah's brood, some clumsy attempts to re-establish marital trust, and some long overdue re-evaluations of the Pure Vessel. The king will send his newly unusable creation to train under the Great Knights, and become their sixth.
Court intrigue, sibling bonding, goddess hunting, different brands of motherhood, and accidental arson are abound.

Summary
The Pure Vessel fully expects that it will die within the Black Egg Temple after its failure to contain the infection. It certainly does not expect a second chance at life. However, after a strange series of dreams of a familiar small specter, it wakes up within a much younger and spry body. It doesn't take long to realize that it has taken the specter's place within their shell.
