Oh no.
The birthday wish.
In a moment of weakness, Buck had wished for Eddie to love him back. Romantically.
And ever since then, Eddie has been complimenting his eyes and spooning him and looking at his lips and telling him he loves him.
The evidence is clear. There is only one logical conclusion: the birthday wish turned Eddie gay.
Fuck.
or, Buck wishes for Eddie's love. He gets what he wished for. :)

"I don't know what Eddie wants," Theo can feel his bottom lip start to shake in worry.
"Hey it's alright, let's think hard," Ravi comforts him by giving him a pat on the back.
Theo thinks hard, really hard. "I know!" Theo gasped, "He wants to kiss Buck."

Summary
No. Whatever it is, no. Eddie would like Buck to stop chasing whatever that thing is. Would like to grab the thought out of Buck’s concussed head and throw it out a window.
Buck’s face drops into something serious, eyes wide. “You called me baby.”
There it is. Out the window it did not go.
“No, I didn’t,” Eddie says.
Very smooth. Convincing.
“You did.” Buck points at him, floppy and triumphant. “At the— the thing. With the— you said it. You called me baby.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“Eddie.” Buck is delighted. “I heard you. I was concussed, not deaf.”
“I didn’t call you baby,” Eddie scoffs. “I called you a baby. Because you got a bump on the head and were crying about it.”
“That’s not—” Buck starts.
“You were being a baby,” Eddie continues, standing now, because a moving target is harder to hit. “I’m gonna go tell the others you’re awake.”
“Eddie.”
“Rest your head, bud.”

Eddie calls Buck baby by accident.Bookmarked by Demeter_P

Summary
And as ludicrous as it sounds—if this is Buck’s dream, and he’s been here the whole time, and Eddie’s just been, what, popping in each time he’s fallen asleep since Buck was hit?—it really would explain all the random things Eddie’s remembered each time he’s woken up.
“Okay, let’s pretend I’ve gone temporarily insane and I believe you, that I believe that I keep falling asleep into your dream ever since–ever since you—” Eddie shakes his head, clears his throat. Fuck.
“I think I can prove it to you, actually,” Buck says.
“How?”
Or, the universe screams. Eddie just has to listen.

Summary
He was willing to chip at it, at his father’s carefully constructed cage, bit by bit. He could make it clear that his body was not his; and what with everybody so keen to take control of it, he could make sure they know that everybody—anybody was welcome to do with it what they will.
(He didn’t hate his father as much as he hated himself anymore.)
It was a small rebellion, more or less invisible, but he could see it. And Neil Perry just wasn’t brave enough to rebel in bolder colours anymore.
After a failed suicide attempt, Neil is desperately trying to hang on to who he was before, but that person is slipping through his fingers. He’s not sure whether he ever existed at all.
