Summary
A Stranger stumbles across a floating octahedron in the middle of the woods. Upon touching it, this Stranger becomes an odd octahedron-headed being and falls into a massive neon underworld. As this Stranger tries to escape, many things hidden in the dark slowly become illuminated.
Or, a somewhat nonlinear retelling of the game OCTAHEDRON.
Also NOTE: This fic uses Limited 3rd Person Point-of-View. As a result of the Protagonist initially not knowing that he's agender and actually uses he/ they, there will be the use of she/her pronouns for the first half of the fic. Summary
C-137 is an automaton foot soldier deployed on Malevelon Creek in the closing days of the Battle for the Creek. During a patrol near an old abandoned ICBM site, a Helldiver squad gets deployed to his position. The ensuing battle ends up making the bot rethink his allegiances, presenting him with an opportunity- that is, if he chooses to take it.
