Veneciano has always been a nation which duties he has evaded. With a heavy reliance on the government, he yearned for a normal life with his friends and… lover, yet accomplishing that would be an utopia. Due to a really strange dream, Italy starts having these odd episodes, in which his behavior changes… Would he be able to control this sudden change in himself? And even if he could… at what extend would he go just to satisfy his utopia?
(This is basically a what if Italy happened to turn into 2p Italy before ww2)

Ok so I decided to rewrite most aspects of Hetalia. This section of the story perspective will be from Italy and it may change in the future. Things like ideologies, dictators, will not be mentioned but referenced with the objective to not disturb the reader meanwhile reading. Most characters may face slight changes towards personality and behavior, but it is gonna be attempted to preserve the main points of these. The fic itself is not really a history book, so please refrain from using it as future reference. With all of this said, I wish for all the readers to have a nice day since it was you who decided to read this !!! I will probably not imply any sort of ship on this.

Gilbert was never really good at telling people how he felt, nor was he good at expressing himself beyond his egotistical persona. In other words, it was rare for people to actually, truly know what he was thinking. He's an intriguing person, indeed. It's hard to understand this sort of being—one that has lived for centuries, involved in conflicts and the likes. Can such a "person" even be understood?

A series of primary and secondary sources all revolving around a certain individual. I update every Wednesday/Thursday depending on your time zone. I know it LOOKS long, but it's easy to read this fic in increments, and the chapters are usually relatively short.
There are: interview chapters (characters answer a question), hidden documents (often written by humans about their nations), Cleaning Mr. Prussia chapters (self-explanatory), articles (informational), podcast segments (two people talk about countries), diary entries (from Prussia), chapters where we explore Prussia's rooms, a photo album chapter (photo descriptions), and blog chapters (but it's not really a blog) so far.
