Summary
An alternate take on what Light could have done leading up to his solitary confinement and the effects of that change on canon events. Light sets himself up to look like he's having a nervous breakdown and erases his memories before turning himself in as opposed to after. The memory wipe also has a few side effects due to how much Light's life and thoughts revolved around the death note.
May end up including some lawlight because I truly cannot help myself, but that will not be tagged unless/until it appears.
