Summary
Suddenly, sirens fill the entire house, and it’s the only thing Mikey can hear. “They’re here!” he exclaims as he tosses the phone aside. He grabs Gerard's shoulders and starts dragging him up the stairs just as paramedics rush into the house. “Down here! Please!” Mikey cries out. Hearing him, the paramedics rush to assist, helping him lift Gerard. But then, without warning, Mikey is pushed aside, and he feels himself shutting down.

Hiding just below the surface of everyday life lies the community and lives of every monster and freak imaginable. And in Belleville, New Jersey there is no shortage of vampires, werewolves, ghouls, Hell there's one guy in on the south side that swears his girlfriend is a witch.
Gerard Way did his best to find joy in little things, coming to terms with the fact that you were an immortal vampire had a tendency to make you spiral into a pit of anxiety if you didn't give yourself something to focus on. But little did he know how hard he could fall when his un-beating heart tried to come alive again for some gorgeous tattooed strange up on stage one night.
Frank Iero was living life above all of that. None the wiser to the horrors that could come alive and surround him at anytime. But being in the wrong place at the wrong time one night sends him into a headfirst spiral into this new, very monstrous world. Threatening to rip away his humanity, his loved ones, and maybe even his life.

From this angle, Frank can’t see his face, only his broad back and a shock of dark hair.
“Uh, hey. I’m Frank, I’ll be training you today.” He says, willing his voice and hand to be still, stretching it out for a cool handshake as the guy turns around.
Frank freezes and feels his eyes go wide.
It’s the man from his dreams– the exact same man– the same shoulder length black hair, the same eyes, same round face, yet somehow his skin is more pale in this lighting.
The man gingerly shakes his hand and Frank flinches. It’s cold, and the tips of his fingers wrap around the skin of his wrist, barely touching his pulse point.
He answers with, “Gerard.”----
Or; Frank's been living in the same town in New Jersey his whole life and everything's been absolutely boring thus far, but it all changes when he comes face to face from the man who's been haunting his dreams, the man who's now his retail co-worker.
