Summary
Ebb Day, when the tide receded the farthest from the shore, was situated right in the middle of mating season, the strongest pull on a Lemurian's libido. For Rafayel, it manifested in utter powerlessness, given he was on land. The scales that had littered his skin the first time you'd seen him in its throes were the mildest symptom - he'd said some years he'd have to soak in his tub all day, either fruitlessly ignoring his interest or giving in and bringing himself off over and over, never really satisfied until the day finally passed and he could reorient himself again.
