Buffy stares at him, because that cryptic response definitely cleared things up for her.
Then Jenny, who’s been weirdly quiet since she’s entered the apartment, lays down a newspaper on the coffee table. Buffy’s heart drops twenty meters when she sees the big, bold headline—Rockstar Faith Lehane and Scream Queen Buffy Summers Share PDA-Filled Stroll through LA.
Underneath is a photo, in which a blonde and brunette couple cross the street together. The brunette grins, dimples visible, and has her arm around the other’s shoulder, while the blonde looks up at her with a disgustingly lovesick gaze and smiles so widely and… oh. Oh God.
“They think we’re dating,” Faith says exactly what Buffy’s thinking.
“Well…” Jenny starts. “We think that you should. Date.”

But, when the crumbling floorboards sends Max to his early demise, Grace believes her problem to be solved. Until, he returns as a ghost that only she can see and hear and, even worse, who can't get more than 30 feet away before he forcibly teleports back to her side. Through their efforts to figure out how to send Max to the next plane, they grow closer and learn more about the person they didn't know that well in the first place. But, digging deeper into the mystery may lead them straight to danger that lurks in the heart of this town.

“Rumi?” Mira questioned uncertainly. The demons had frozen as well, staring at Rumi as she stared back. The tense silence stretched. The hallway felt like the oxygen had been sucked out and the dim lighting cast shadows all around.
“Rumi, there’s no such thing as half demons. We would know. Celine would have told us. It has to be a trick….” Zoey said but it was clear she still had her own reservations.
And what could Rumi say to that? Celine had said she could find no records of any other half demons, not anywhere in the archive. How could hunters have never encountered a single half demon in the nearly 800 years since the honmoon was created? What were the chances they would meet them now, in this generation, when Rumi herself was one? It felt like a trap. It had to be a trap.
But…
“Rumi?”
“She’s bleeding.” She said softly. “Demons don’t bleed.”
