Summary
Keith lives in a world where Omegas rule over Alphas.
His fellow Alphas dwindled in numbers due to a disease that swept through their genetics, affecting only the dominating second gender. And due to their lessening numbers, Omegas took that power in hand and decreed that all Alphas were to be presented in society and monitored until they were of age for mating hunts.
Even those who chose to live outside of those constricting rules, who labeled themselves as free alphas, were not safe from such constrictions.
Now Keith has to escape every Omega after him in the hunt and find a way to escape the sacred forests to return to a semblance of that freedom.
Except… it might not be so easy when a bright eyed, long legged Omega has his eyes on Keith with intentions to mate him.

Lance turns to face the window and starts to work on removing his chest plate. "I don't know about you, dude, but I'm tired. Can we do this later?"
Lance hears what he can only call a growl behind him, and the hair rises on the back of his neck. His skin tingles and he has to bite down on the inside of his cheek to bring the sudden frenzy of thoughts to a stop. Wow, okay. That's… something. "Your 'later' is never."
"That works, too!" Lance chirps. The chest plate comes off, and he tosses it to the side with the others. He starts to fiddle with his belt, but Keith's next words have him freezing.
"Why did you kiss me?"

It’s been five years since Lance lost everything. Allura, his best friend, a woman like a sister to him who confided in him and him in her. A woman who died to give the multiverse its best chance and coincidentally give her home planet another chance at life.

Until the balance between the people brought back on Altea and the Galrans simply looking for a home after losing everything explodes into conflict and the Paladins are called upon to prevent a future that resembles the past.
Suddenly Lance is the next in line for the Altean throne, he’s thrust into choosing a member of the Blade of Marmora to marry, and attempting to find some sort of peace for himself and Altea.
At least one of the options reminds him of a Mullet having hotshot that he yearns for.
So it may be chaotic and frightening, but maybe this is the best thing that could have happened to him.OR
Lance gets yoinked from his depressing life on Earth to try and help the other Paladins find some peace between the Altean and Galran people. Also, Keith can’t be normal about this.

Lance is loving Hebeyl: c'mon, which sentiment would be more appropriate? It's literally known as "The Planet of Love"! No Galra attacks, no weird sacrificial rituals, no hostile locals... This is the dream.
... Apart from a tiny, little, completely unfair detail: somehow, Lance ends up cursed by a Priestess. And the kicker? No one, not even Hebeyl's King, knows what the curse will actually do to him.
But when accidents and misfortunes start piling up, impacting not only Lance but the whole team, everything slowly clicks: this goddamn curse... might have something to do with one dumb mullet boy, who's been tormenting his thoughts for months. Great.
