Summary
When Freminet and his siblings visited Liyue during their vacation time, he found that this nation was pretty different from Fontaine. Its colors were calmer and it felt far more ancient and just so much warmer as well. The beaches were decorated with shells and starconches and the trees were so uniquely colorful and bright. It was like stepping into a whole other world.
On one particular day, he’d just finished diving and stepped on the beach of Yaoguang Shoal. Suddenly he heard a voice calling.
“Wahhh! Chongyun, look! It’s a sea monster from the depth of the oceans! It’s probably looking to seek revenge for their beloved and wreak havoc upon the land!”
Freminet blinked. A sea monster? Where? He looked around left and right but he couldn’t make out anything unusual.
...Were they shouting about him?

"You should go to bed," Alhaitham interrupted Kaveh mid-sentence. The architect's incoherent, drunken rambling wasn't providing any more information about his day, so it wasn't of value to listen to anymore. That time could be spent better sleeping. "You'll regret it if you don't."
"You can't just tell me to go to sleep. I'm not a child anymore!" Kaveh only continued muttering unintelligible things afterwards.
"Yes, children are typically not alcoholics." As always when Alhaitham used that descriptor, Kaveh's mouth dropped open.
"Me?! An alcoholic? Excuse you, I'm of age, I know how much's too much! You should see some of the other people at the bar!"
"I'd rather not."
"Ugh!"
A typical evening in Kaveh and Alhaitham's household. It's all about the little things.

Summary
He looked back at his eyes. With the hair covering his face, they didn't look too unnatural anymore. If there was no direct light to be reflected then he couldn't think about why it didn't.
Breaking the eye contact with himself, he took out a sheet of paper. There was one last letter that he had to pen. He hadn't been able to put his feelings into words, or, that was too oversimplified. He knew what he was feeling but he was uncertain about his decision to put them to paper. Yet, despite that, in a strange, unrequited way, he felt as though he owed it to the detective.
William writes that fateful letter to Sherlock.

Summary
Sherlock wasn’t a man very accustomed to boredom. It wasn’t that the feeling didn’t catch him fairly often, rather he could still not get used to it, even after decades of enduring.
It got under his skin like nothing else. His mind would be full but not with revolutionary ideas in the field of forensic chemistry nor with decoding and connecting each slightest fact from a new case. There would be a painfully loud silent buzzing, accompanied by a random piece of music played on his violin, random facts floating through his mind and random memories from his childhood. They would overlap, perhaps two violins were playing two ill-fitting segments at the same time, or his mother was suddenly explaining to him the concept of Avogadro’s law.
His thoughts only regained their sense of purpose once that boredom left. His boredom only left once his interest was piqued. And his interest was only piqued when presented with a mystery worth solving.
That was Sherlock Holmes’ current conundrum. A lack of such mysteries and therefore a buzzing, hyperactive mind.

Summary
The ocean was playing a symphony. Unlike common belief, it wasn't pompous or ostentatious, no tall waves of thrill nor ever-changing currents. Instead, it was soft and ever-moving, disturbed but never lashing out. It was Furina's constant companion, just like the feeling it expressed. An Endless Solo of Solitude, that was what she liked to call it, what she'd thought fit to name the constant melody engulfing her, drowning her.

He is happy that Liam is with him, he really is. At the same time, he's scared. He's scared that Liam will find another person. Another person who'd cherish him more than he does, another person who would make Liam happy.
He knows that Liam is a friendly person. His students love him, everybody around him loves him. Rightfully so, how can you dislike such an amazing person. But it scares him. It scares him that Liam will love somebody, tell somebody else what he shared with him.
He doesn't want to let Liam go. And he feels guilty about it.
