The year is 1926.
The first time Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin meet, they are in the middle of the ocean, on a steamship headed to the new land. They are both married, but not to each other. The two couples have departed from their homeland, and are ready to start their lives over. However, upon arriving, Jimin and Jungkook's respective partners run off with each other and cannot be found, leaving Jimin destitute and alone in this unfamiliar land. Feeling responsible for Jimin, Jungkook suggests something utterly scandalous: a fake marriage.
Alone together in this strange, hot, and dusty land, they try to build themselves a good life, even if it is rooted in pretense.

His taste, his scent, the addiction to him is all that's left, even years later.
Too bad he has no idea who he is, because he needs him like he needs air to breathe.

Jeongguk is a bonafide fuckboy, who wears none of his emotions on his sleeve because he's too busy hiding them behind a mask crafted of pure self loathing. He's got this sun kissed skin and sleepy eyes and.. and an actual crown on his head! And it's not the paper kind, that you get at Burger King and stuff. No, this crown is a real, actual fairy crown made of what seems to look like bits of grass and daisies! It's a teensy bit lopsided and there's a clump of dirt sticking out on one side, but still!
