Summary
Jack Frost has, since his death, lived three lives: he's been the Fun-oriented proto-Guardian; she's also been a kind, compassionate Winter Queen; and they've been an Ultra-hip, before-their-time Jewish mother. Jack has watched one child grow, just out of her reach, she could look but not touch just as with any other child. She has taken in the unwanted and cast-off as friends and family. She has made and taken care of and BEEN taken care of by friends, ranging from Queen Elinor of the Summer Court teaching her the art and science of Ruling a Season, to falling in love and raising a child with the time-traveling alien who taught her how to fight, to hosting the Ghost world's first Bat Mitzvah. He's developed skills and talents, and always ALWAYS defys expectations.
Let's get into that.
In the same universe as my other fic, "Raising a Legend", this work focuses more on Jack's relationships with their extended family and friends, where Raising focused more on the family unit of Yaakov/Jack-Motle/North-Aster/Bunny. For example, while there are mentions of and an appearance by my OC, Avagail in Raising, her stories will be here. I've also decided to put Yaakov and Aster's early/pre-Motle relationship here.

Summary
MK (Or rather, Xiaotian) still needs to get used to his monkey form in many different ways. For example, the need to groom himself, messier bedhead, the little monkeys on Flower Fruit Mountain clinging to him, the itchy fur, and even worse—Mating Season during the spring. Mating season was MK’s worst nightmare. He still needed to have bottom surgery, but he’s a little to broke for that. He’d gotten top surgery and a few tattoos, but that was really it.
Unfortunately, spring time is here, but with spring comes the mating season, causing MK to go… well… a little crazy. MK made a nest and suddenly disappeared, unfortunately causing Mei to have to call Red Son to try and find him, having already called Wukong and Macaque, to no avail.
Or in other words: MK goes into heat and tries to fuck Red Son… (Wukong TRIED to warn Red Son not to go near MK during this season but oh well)

Well, I say "her hand," but maybe it's his hand. Or some other pronoun I don't have a word for. They might have seventeen biological sexes, for all I know. Or none. No one ever talks about the really hard parts of first contact with intelligent alien life: pronouns. I'm going to go with "she" for now, because it just seems rude to call a thinking being "it".
[what if you wake up in space and for the first time in your life you're free from the gender panopticon so you assign your new alien best friend the objectively best gendered pronouns. which are not your pronouns. and then your new alien best friend asks hey, what's up with that?]

All three Eridians clicked in surprise, the third Eridian—Grace nicknamed them 'Mendel'—wobbling on their stool in surprise.
"Light-years?!" Rocky chirped, melody rising. "You lie! Explain!"
