"Uh, well, we just kind of assumed?" Bokuto asked, releasing him. He scratched his head, glancing back at Kuroo, who shrugged. "You guys have been dating since, like, high school. Right?"
Hinata's mouth fell open. "We have?!" he squeaked, at the same time that Kageyama repeated, "High school?" '

“Well, here it is. In all its four-walled glory,” Yu nonchalantly introduced, gesturing inside with his free hand as the other pushed the door further aside.
Yosuke wasn’t sure what to expect. Maybe the latest technology hailed all the way from Tokyo? Considering just how much of a genius he is, and with his fighting prowess, a room filled with awards and black belts would’ve made sense. Instead, he was met with barren, bleak walls with a single non-digital clock hung above a pathetically small TV. Empty metal shelves stood to the side, while the far end of the room was filled with unpacked boxes stacked as tall as Yu himself, and lastly, Yosuke noticed a small study area that had been cobbled together occupied by a few textbooks.
For someone who was the leader of a small band of teens fighting inside a TV to solve a murder case, someone who possessed natural, silver hair, Yu’s room sure was...plain. It was like his room was a testament to everything Inaba condensed into an equally small space.

Yu pressed his hand against the door, but just as they were set to enter, he felt Chie’s absence. Concerned, he turned around, smiling amusingly as Chie stared pointedly up at the faded sign.
“We both can’t go in if you’re out here, Chie,” Yu called out to her.
Yu’s voice seemed to pull her out of her thoughts as her gaze diverted to Yu’s direction with a furrowed brow. “You can’t be serious.”
“Hm?” Yu innocently tilted his head to the side slightly. “What’s wrong?”
“I thought when you suggested we find help for our, uh, problem, I didn’t think you meant,” Chie looked back up at the sign, dismay still stagnant on her face, “The bookstore.”
Yu suppressed a small chuckle. “Hey, books don’t judge and offer a variety of great advice.” With Chie’s skepticism furthered, he added, “I learned how to fish and catch bugs from the books here, things I never learned in the city. I’m sure there’s at least one book that will help us with our… emotional problem.”

“Chie.” Yu sighs again, his patience clearly near its limit.
“I’m sorry!” she says, shrugging defensively. “I’m just… I guess I don’t get it. I mean, you have such good taste otherwise.” Yu rolls his eyes but can’t totally hide a smile. “And no offense to Yosuke but… Okay, no, maybe a little offense to Yosuke, but you could do a lot better than him, you know.”
Yu laughs. “I can’t really explain it any better than what I already have. He’s cute, he’s fun to hang out with, and.” Yu clears his throat and then, clearly imitating Yosuke says “See you later, partner” and winks, just like Yosuke always does. “You have to understand, Chie,” Yu says. “I mean, I’m only human.” And he looks down at his food and his cheeks turn a bright pink.]
