Summary

Six years later, the 118 is called to an elementary school for a little girl with leukemia who scraped her knee.
The little girl has her father's birthmark. Her brother already knows some Spanish. And their mother, apparently, is also a firefighter.

So, instead of deciding to re-do his childhood But Better, he decides that this whole Mortal Hero thing is just NOT for him. So, instead, he decides to do as his kind-of-sibling Nereus does, and become a Hermit. Hell, he even makes his Mortality burn away faster than it had in the Before, so he CAN'T become the Child of Prophesy this time!
