If no one else would stand up and do it, then she would!
Uzi has left the safety of the colony after a fight with her stupid dad. Him and every other Drone thought they were safe in the colony, and thought nothing of the deaths caused by the Murder Drones hunting the scavenging parties that actually supplied the colony with what it needed. But she knew better- And she wasn't crazy! No matter what everyone else insisted! No, she was going to be the one to get rid of the Murder Drones, and then everyone would finally respect her!

Summary
No sooner than Uzi had found the right energy pack for her rifle, one of the Murder Drones had arrived. Ducking behind a car, she used a shard of broken mirror to keep an eye on the Drone from safety, only to realize that it knew she was there. A crazed cackling filled the air as it leapt at her, knocking the rifle out of her hand and pushing Uzi back. A brief struggle later and Uzi held her rifle pointed at the short bobbed haired head of the drone and pulled the trigger, obliterating it. However moments later it started to reconstitute itself, and with her rifle recharging, Uzi looked around in desperation for something to use as a weapon...

The Solver may be gone, but V's issues still remain, even if she won't readily admit it. From her own current relationships, to scars that run much deeper, there is a lot for V to reflect on.
And boy, does that sound hard to do for a drone whose spent her whole life trying to avoid doing just that.

First time writing something for a fandom! Murder Drones has me in an unexpected iron grip, specifically V and how complicated she is under her facade.
I started this fic intending to just play around and make a lighthearted one-shot with the Vuzi dynamic in a canon-friendly manner, but it quickly blossomed into a multi-chapter exploration into V's problems and relationships with others and her views on things.
The first 5 chapters will follow a set story wherein V must face some hard facts about herself, whereas the chapters after will be less structured post chapter 5 interactions I wanted to write or relationships I wanted to explore.

Tl;dr: I really like writing V and I rotate her in my brain like an overclocked centrifuge.

Summary
Sometimes, it's not always better on the winning side. Sometimes, the winning side doesn't win. And sometimes, we have to confront what comes after. For a worker colony on Copper-9, things had only gone up since a certain world-ending cataclysm was cancelled. Uzi, N, and V have grown so much since they all got stuck tolerating each other's bullshit. They still have things worth sorting out, but everything could be handled in due time. Alternatively, another drone had only been on a downward spiral, desperate to run away from her inevitable fate, a fate she didn't even fully comprehend.
After one particular interaction with V by pure happenstance, J is set on a crash course through a new journey she cannot run away from. Will she finally confront the demons eating at her frames? Will she allow herself to build bridges and connections with others? Or, will she let fear take the wheel?

As the harsh cold wind of Copper 9 continues its way past the planet, A small child was sat next to her mother. They where hiding from the Dissasembly Drones. The child was only 5 years old. Uzi Doorman. Daughter to Nori and Khan Doorman. Khan has abandoned his wife and daughter for his own cowardness and safety. Nori held Uzi close when they heard movement in the distance and saw a yellow glow in the distance. Nori looked down at her child as the Dissasembly Drone spots the pair and starts approaching. "Uzi, Darling. I love you so much and I want you to stay strong for mommy, now little one run, run to safety." Nori spoke calmly to Uzi as she brushed some hair out of Uzis face before placing a kiss on her forehead. "Mama?" Uzi sniffles as she watches her mother get up. Nori looks back at Uzi and smiles before going to distract the Dissasembly Drones... Uzi watched in horror as the Drones destroyed her mom before running off with watered down oil seeping from under her Visor to visualise crying....
This story is what happend if the main squad found Uzi at a young age decides to take her in. what will V, N and J think?
