    Realization and guilt dawned on Aziraphale’s face. “Oh—oh, I’ve been so stupid. Your feet…they’re burned, aren’t they?”
    “‘S not your fault,” Crowley gritted out, shifting from one foot to the other. “And I’m fine. Don’t feel like you have to—hisssss—have to help me or anything.”
    Aziraphale stared at him incredulously. “Crowley! You’ve been walking around on severe burns for hours! Don’t lie to me and tell me you’re fine!”
    “Really, angel, I’ll be okay,” Crowley said with a grimace. “I’ll just go back to my flat—”
    Anthony J. Crowley, you will not leave this bookshop in your condition!”
