As his fingers wrapped around the thin, metal handle, he heard the silhouetted figure say, “It is now your duty to keep this lamp lit, should it go out, the soul of your brother will be lost forever.”

Wirt is the new lantern-bearer and must take up the duty previously carried out by the Woodsman.

It took him fifteen minutes to will himself out from under his pile of soft blankets. Finally sitting up and moving to the edge of the bed, Kei notices the warm, sticky feeling in his boxers. Clearly off to a great start, he texts Yamaguchi to not wait up for him and to just go straight to practice, he knows he’ll be running late today. Kei cleans up in the bathroom before deciding a quick shower wouldn’t do him any harm.
Turns out, it would.

Diluc was in the midst of sluggishly scrubbing a glass when the sound of the door opening reached his ears. Archons know he prayed that it wasn't a last-minute guest. Ways to subtly turn the person down and tell them to come back the next day were quickly swarming into his head.
Slightly irritated, Diluc closed his eyes and exhaled inaudibly. He wiped his hands with a nearby towel and was about to excuse himself when, finally, a soft-spoken voice resounded behind his back.
"My apologies for the sudden intrusion. Are you still open?"
Although Diluc was fully prepared on what to say, the moment he turned around the words got caught in his throat.
