    Daniel thought he may have just won the award for the worst possible time to lose his passport: immediately post-bomb-drop with the trial script, and alone in the penthouse with a very angry vampire.

    Louis had told Armand not to touch him before he left, but would that have any sort of meaning now? The whole Maitre thing was definitely over.
