Summary
When they finally head down to the bunkrooms that night, Nick is tired but happy. He falls into a hammock and hears Stat do the same. The room is quiet; he can hear waves lapping against the boat on the other side of the wall, and the soft creaking breaths of the ship is just lulling him to sleep when-
“So here’s the thing about Bulbasaur,” starts Stat, unprompted and indignant, and Nick barks a laugh into the dark of the room.Or: Nick and Static man visit the Irons, and learn how to be people together.

Summary
There’s an itching in Chris’ bones. Go on, it says. Don’t you want to be important? Don’t you want to mean something?
Her hair still smells like the ocean. Someone she doesn’t remember has twisted parts of it into braids. Chris spent years growing, but she doesn’t remember them. (That doesn’t mean she didn’t grow, though.)
“I think I need to go,” she says.

Summary
He builds himself up, out. He grows into his bones and his voice drops several years too late, (but it drops). He cuts away the parts of himself that do not fit and creates himself in his own image. Nicholas is nothing if not a self-made man.

Summary
“Tony,” Tony says, “Stark.” He watches the kid’s face for any hint of recognition but there’s none.
“Hence why those guys want you to build a Stark missile.”
“Right.”
The kid snorts, “what, do you work in R&D at your own company?” When Tony just gives him a blank look he clears his throat, “nevermind. So if you can build a missile I bet you can figure out a way to get us out of here.”
Tony sighs, turning his face away. He’s so tired. “I can’t build them that weapon, kid.”
Now it’s the kid’s turn to look confused. “Then build something else,” he says simply.

Summary
It had been a pretty calm shift at the 7-Eleven - until the Red Hood stalked in, murder-strutting to the chip aisle while a stoically-fretting Batman hovered in the doorway.
The cashier was really not paid enough for this.

Summary
Apparently, Mr. Oz decided psychologically torturing a 15 year-old for six months was no longer "cool." And now Tim's paying the price for that, because instead of killing him like any good, self-respecting villain would, he's dropped him back on Earth with an apology and a snack.
Or,
It's been six months for Tim. It's been 10 years for Tim's family.
I'm sure it will all be fine.
