Summary
What they tell you is that, fate is a fickle thing. So is magic, and so is love.
It's been a decade since Voldemort perished, freeing the Wizarding World of the evil. But when dementors appear on the school grounds out of nowhere, more questions arise. Is the world really safe? Adam Parrish wouldn't necessarily agree. Well, soon enough Adam Parrish and everybody else around him are thrown in this mess.
Fates are discovered and secrets revealed, so are hidden allies who want magic to thrive and dangerous foes who want the pure-blood families to reign supreme. And the old halls and psychics speak of a prophecy and another Chosen One, who equilibriates between the light and the dark. But what happens when the dark engulfs the light? What happens when the light goes out?
What they tell you is that, fate is a fickle thing. So is magic, and so is love. But what they don't tell you is that, they often clash and collide. And you have to let them.
Alternatively, a TRC x Harry Potter AU with all of our favourite gangs thrown in a magical adventure together.

Ethan is still speaking—yelling—and Adam is—he’s a little nauseous. Part of him doesn’t want to be a part of this conversation at all, and a more traitorous part of him wants to call her back, but Ethan still has his cell phone.
Adam thinks, isn’t this how everything went long last time? Adam hid paycheck stubs from his parents and got caught in his own web of lies. Now he’s lied to Ethan and he has been caught for that as well. He never learns. He always makes the same mistakes.
Adam dampens his lips and chooses his next words carefully. “I don’t understand why you’re angry.”
