Taehyung’s mouth fell open as he noticed the ears.
The second set.
They were long and white, sprouting from the top of his head, contrasting brightly with his hair. Rabbit ears. Taehyung knew he probably shouldn’t, but he reached out, stroking his fingers along one. So soft. Like he was petting one of Jimin’s very expensive sweaters.

Jeongin was not sure how long he had been on the road. Actually, scratch that, he did not know how long he had been on the road today. He knew very well how long it’s been since he left his pack and his family back in Busan. He was 26 years old and unpresented. That was not to say he was not quite sure he was an alpha. It was just a matter of time. Usually, alphas tended to present the latest, although no actual age limit really existed. He heard stories of people as old as 68 presenting as alphas. Omegas tended to know by their puberty and betas usually in their late teens to early 20’s. Even those had their exceptions though, as everything in this world. Human bodies just liked playing tricks like that.

"Felix," Hyun-Jin's voice is gentler now, softer, and it startles Felix more than if he had been angry. He watches as the alpha steps closer, slow and careful as if approaching a startled animal. "You're sick," Hyun-Jin states. "And exhausted."
Felix blinks at him.
"I've been told you barely ate at breakfast," Hyun-Jin continues, his gaze unwavering. "I was also told you looked like you were going to collapse the moment you stepped outside, and then—" He exhales, a sharp, quiet thing. "Then you did."
