Summary
Sparks fly when Adar brings his brood of unruly children to the library, and a certain pretty librarian catches the single dad's eye. His son Glûg also takes notice of his father's interest in Elrond, and the boy hatches a plan to bring the pair together.

“I’m sure the librarians can help you. Why don’t you go ask one of them about your book?”Glûg felt a stab of panic. The prospect of speaking to a strange adult was terrifying. “Which one should I ask?”
“I don’t know…” His father glanced across the lobby, impatience palpable. After a moment, he pointed out a male librarian piling books onto a rolling cart. “How about the pretty one over there? I’m sure he’ll know exactly where you can find your book.”
Pretty… Glûg immediately latched onto this word, surprised to hear his father take notice of another man’s beauty. He took a moment to assess the librarian for himself before agreeing.
“Yes, he seems nice. I’ll go ask him, Dad.”

Summary
Adar has declared himself King of Mordor. And a King is always in need of a herald. Unfortunately, he has his eyes set on one herald in particular. There is nothing that would make Gil-Galad part with his herald, except that Adar has promised to recall his children to Mordor and trouble the peoples of Middle-Earth no longer. He will also lend his army in the fight against Sauron.
And though Elrond feels that he would sooner die, it is painfully clear what the lesser of the two evils are, and the whole of Middle-Earth is at stake. Besides, they only need a few months in order to defeat Sauron, once they have done that then he will be able to return to Lindon for good. This is just a temporary sacrifice. And his dear friend and brother Prince Durin will not be far away.
AU that takes place just after Season 2 Episode 1, when Elrond is working at the boathouse, but just before Galadriel goes to talk to him about joining the mission to Eregion.

He has decided to pack up and leave, even if he feels in his heart that there has to be another way, although he is not able to see it, maybe because his heart has been breaking for the last three years. May the Valar have mercy on him and guide him home wherever that is.

Summary
Celebrimbor flees a besieged Ost-in-Edhil to get the remaining mythril and knowledge of the Three Rings away from Sauron, or to lure Sauron away from his city with what he’s taken with him - whichever he can pull off first. A scarred elf with a surprising amount of experience with Sauron guides him through the battlefield.
Or, Adar’s first fight against Sauron goes poorly between Damrod defecting and Sauron enchanting some of the Uruk to his side. Saving a strategically valuable elf from both Sauron's mind manipulation and his hunting will have to do as a Plan B.
