Summary
Dark stares at Chosen, his face the clear definition of someone who is very dumbfounded. A tad carefully blank, for he was trying his best to not burst out laughing. Once again.
“It’s… Is that a, uhm, eight? The number eight?” Dark tried, his black eyes squinting as he tries to make out the letter or what seemed to be a number Chosen was trying to convey with his arms and hands.
Chosen gave a little frown, shaking his head no as he lifted up eight fingers as if saying “no, if I was to say eight, I would do this”, before doing the weird gesture he did earlier again, adding more emphasis and exaggeration.

After all, one can doubt of them ever being healthy when they are solely each other's worlds and don't exactly have any good references of a healthy relationship.
And cheers could it be called a relationship if all they ever used to label each other is best friends... Cheers to this two!

Summary
Dark gets…weird, sometimes.
He has been for all the years they’ve been together.
Every few months, he’ll start pulling away more, start hiding in his room or going out on his own, his hands will start to shake. It builds up slowly, slowly, slowly, until they’re barely even interacting.
And then he’ll snap, and after that? He’ll be normal again. (At least for a little while.)
Chosen remembers the first time like it was yesterday.

Summary
In the aftermath of The Showdown, Orange decides to stay with Chosen in the outernet in hopes of trying to utilize powers he doesn't understand. He and Chosen struggle to grasp the concept of family and brotherhood, and their clashing personalities certainly aren't helping. They're both stubborn enough to keep trying, though.
The world unfortunately keeps on turning, and past events and emotions have a way of catching up to the present in ways that neither brother is fully prepared for. They both realize that life is more dangerous than either of them want it to be, but if they don't learn to anchor themselves against it, they might lose themselves in the storm.
