“I don’t know,” says Simon. “I don’t even know where we’re going, they won’t tell me.” He buries his face in his knees and arms again, and Grace hears something that sounds suspiciously like a sob. Maybe Simon’s eyeballs were sweating too.
“You have to promise you’ll come back,” Grace demands, his own lower lip trembling. "Pinky promise!" He jabs his pinky into Simon’s cheek and pokes him with it until Simon looks up.
Simon’s eyes are red-rimmed, but Grace’s glad that he’s managed to surprise just the tiniest smile from him. “I’m not pinky promising, that shit’s for babies,” he says, eyeing Grace’s extended pinky with mock disdain.
“Then how am I supposed to know you’ll keep your promise?” Grace shoots back.
“We gotta seal the deal with something else,” Simon says seriously.

Something Grace barely caught sight of in that dark mixture of steel and coil that was, at that moment, Driver's eyes. There was just pure, unaltered desire. A hunger so deep, so strong, Grace forgot whatever he was going to say.

Summary
Seya wakes up in the middle of a highway and is immediately surrounded by the overwhelming smell of several thousand rotting corpses and a city getting napalmed right in front of her eyes.
She quickly realizes she didn’t just wake up in any zombie apocalypse but straight into The Walking Dead tv show. She ends up in the quarry camp with the entire season one cast and realizes that she’s the only person there who knows exactly how many of these people are going to die.
Unfortunately for the timeline, Seya has never been very good at minding her own business, and she’ll be damned if she lets her favorite characters die on her watch.

“Sorry, sorry. Just really excited.” He says, shaking the back of his neck. Which Donnie couldn’t help but smile fondly at. He finishes strapping up both the gloves in and moves backwards, grabbing two goggles, and tossing one to Casey who catches it and puts it on, then gives a thumbs up.
Donnie looks back at Mikey, his goggles already on.
“Just remember Mikey. Don’t try too hard or put too much pressure into it. This is just a test, it’s ok if you don’t get it right the first time.” Don reassures Mikey one last time.or
Donnie wants to experiment and learn more about Mikey’s mystic abilities to open portals to different dimensions, Mikey accepts and Casey tags along.

Yes I checked the calendar.I’ve asked many people, over and over again about the date, and they all gave me the same response. It’s August 22nd, exactly one week before the kidnapping of Billy Showalter. Which isn’t right. It’s supposed to be December 12th. One week after all of the boys are supposed to be kidnapped.
I sigh.
This is all so impossible.
