Summary

No, in the circus, with the Titans, even in the Manor around only Alfred and Bruce, Dick was a people-person. Any later and they may not understand the drastic steps Bruce must take to ensure the pack’s stability. It may edge into the extreme, but Tim and Damian and the girls will at least recognize that, with Jason, half-measures will never work.
It’s good that Bruce is seeing this. That he watches them laugh and open a few bottles of wine and play pointless board games. It’s good that he can see how comfortable Jason is with these people; good that he can see for himself the small bit of tension that remains in the line of Jason’s shoulders.
