The plot of the webnovel *The Darkest Night* follows Chigiri, a determined young man who has sworn to avenge his father. To become stronger, he enrolls in an academy, where, instead of studying, he flirts and goes on dates with his harem, consisting exclusively of mentally unstable and unfairly powerful men.
Previously, Isagi was a typical piece of shit who made life miserable for the main characters, but now Yoichi must join forces with the protagonist’s group, earn their trust, and… save the world from an impending war that will surely destroy it? But the novel didn’t say a word about that!

15 hours flashes across the screen. What the fuck? Not even a full day? That’s not a relationship, that’s a one-night stand. Which Ilya doesn’t have a problem with, generally speaking. Once, he used to laugh at them, goading Ranbu to run away from them and cursing the green bastard with all his might. Now he himself is part of this madness. And believe me, it's not funny at all when you're cornered by a guy whose face is a mask and whose mouth seems to drip venom.
Now he would have to play his part as Theseus and, in a last hope, try to return home. Even if it meant he would have to defy God.
