Or: Two ghosts, a serial flirt, the world's friendliest teamkiller, a colorblind ex-cheerleader, and a medic walk out of the military and into a pirate ship. It sounds like a joke, but it's not, except maybe in the cosmic sense. Maybe the real treasure is the friends they'll make along the way, but they're making sure to get plenty of actual treasure too just in case.

Summary
“I think, Sam,” Frodo said slowly, tilting his head back and back as he gazed at the closed-off skyline, “we’ve ended up quite a ways from the Shire.”
Frodo and Sam find themselves lost in The Unknown, with no easy way of getting home again. The resulting journey through the woods—through mist, monsters, and meetings with friends and strangers alike—will take all their daring, strength, and maybe some of their secrets, too.
